Bateau Bay Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Management is a multidisciplinary Physiotherapy practice located on the NSW Central Coast. The practice offers the expertise services of a multidisciplinary team, Physiotherapist & Exercise Physiologist along with a close association with a number of orthopedic surgeons.  Together, they can provide expert diagnosis and management of all musculoskeletal injuries.

Bateau Bay Physiotherapy believes in prompt diagnosis and early return to sport,  work, exercise & activities of daily living. Practitioners pride themselves on prompt referral to other services when required that are personally suited and specialised in that area of injury.

Meet The Team

Stuart Adams

Stuart has completed his Masters of Physiotherapy in 2019 at the University of Sydney.
Throughout his career, Stuart has worked with a diverse range of patients, from helping
athletes recovering from injuries, pre/post operative rehabilitation, elderly individuals with
chronic conditions, workplace and motor vehicle injuries and helping NDIS individuals
achieve their physical goal and building capacity for community participation. Stuart has
experience in a range of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, dry needling,
synthetic casting/splinting, and patient education. Stuart has a particular skill in exercise
prescription having obtained the honourable Dean’s award for his academic achievements
in his undergraduate study in Exercise and Sports Science Australia at CSU.

In addition to his clinical work, Stuart is also passionate about continuing education and
staying up to date on the latest research and techniques in the field. He is committed to
attending conferences and workshops to expand his knowledge and skills in keeping with
best evidence-based practice. Stuart has recently completed workshops surrounding the
shoulder and cervical spine.

Stuart is dedicated to providing personalised care to each of his patients, and he takes a
holistic approach to treatment. He believes in empowering his patients to take an active
role in their own recovery, and he works closely with them to develop individualised
treatment plans that promotes self-management and address their specific need and goals.
When Stuart is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife Brittany who is a
paediatric Occupational Therapist and their beautiful daughter Eliza. They are committed
members of EV Church. You will also see Stuart having a crack with his local premiere league
soccer team, fishing, surfing, and tending to his fatherly duty of good lawn care.
